Grockit is excited to be able to offer a 10-week paid summer internship for a graduate student pursuing research in one or more of the following areas. See our blog post announcing the program for some more details.

Program Goals

  • Provide research opportunities to an individual enrolled in a doctoral program in the fields described above.

Program Duration

  • June 1, 2009 – August 14, 2009

Important Dates

  • April 1, 2009 – Application deadline
  • April 15, 2009 – Notifications sent

Award

  • $5,000 stipend
  • Housing is provided, in one of our spacious live-work lofts
  • Breakfast and lunch is provided, on weekdays
  • Air travel is covered, up to $500 for round-trip travel reimbursement from your university to San Francisco

Eligibility

  • Current full-time enrollment in a doctoral program in the United States in any of the areas specified above.
  • Completion of at least 2 years of coursework toward the PhD prior to the program start date.

Selection

  • The main criteria for selection will be scholarship and the match of applicant interests and experience with Grockit research interests.
