Amanda is a Drama and Gifted Education teacher to high school students at Pine Rivers State High School, near Brisbane, Australia who is enjoying using Learnist to deliver content to students in the classroom. Amanda mentions, “I really like the fact that I can compile a range of resources in one place, saving on loading and searching time, tailoring content to shorter attention spans. I have also appreciated being able to structure the content on each board to suit progression, and having the option of ‘ticking off’ what has been completed.”
Amanda appreciates the ability to organize her work online. She states, “For myself, I’m finding it useful for compiling teaching resources all in one place under units. Learnist supports me to keep ‘folders’ of my work as I move progressively further away from paper-based folders.”
Amanda is planning on using Learnist in her classroom. She goes on to say, “Ideally, I would like to see my students work through the Learnist boards outside of class time and apply their knowledge and learning practically in the classroom setting, like a flipped classroom model.”
