What is Grockit
Grockit is a pretty simple idea – use social gaming technology and Web 2.0 infrastructure to create a fun learning environment for students. However, the technology underpinning Grockit is extremely sophisticated and took years to develop.
The Grockit Collaborative Learning Platform is:

Our Name
“Grockit” is a play on the word “grok” which was coined by Robert Heinlein in his book Stranger in a Strange Land. According to Webster, “Grok” means “to understand profoundly and intuitively.” After using Grockit, students “grok” the subjects they have studied.
